Bagnaia is a hamlet of Viterbo, located on Via Francigena, which passes through the Cimini Mountains. The village is famous for its mannerist garden Villa Lante, a 16th-century architectural jewel, probably designed by Vignola.

Villa Lante is an interesting attraction, thanks to the originality and majesty of its Italianate gardens, splendid buildings, and fabulous fountains. The centre is of very ancient origins, probably prior to the year 1000, and still retains many examples of ancient architecture.
